    Re: Spark Plug Questions

Those TOC newsletters that Bruce has done should be cleared with him. You TOC members contact him, I see him about three times a week and would like to have him on the internet more often too! WE have a bunch of stuff here at the Foundation too! The Aeronca Club ( Ohio Aeronca Aviators) are based her too, Brian Matz and their gang went to Chicago and scanned all the drawings in the archives of FAA for use by the members. The stuff is here lets figure out how to do it. I too have a lot of newsletter stuff and some prfior to Bruce , this all stated in 1973. The problem with the drawings are that the parts were produced from fixtures that did not exactly conform to the drawings. Lets see what we can do! Bruce?

      Re: Spark Plug Questions

Looks like Mike H got permission to do the newsletters and he let me know about Alans offer (I also just read here). If the weather is rotten here and I can get out of taking down the Christmas tree I will try and pull together the newsletters today. I have a bunch of the really old ones other members have let me copy over the years so the first step is going to be to get an inventory of which ones are missing. Hopefully we can post the month and year of any missing ones and someone else will have them.
Before we start putting them on CDs I would suggest we post them on a site and fill in the holes. There are a bunch of the really old ones that are mimiographed and can be pretty hard to read. If someone has a better copy (or has the time to re-type the whole thing!) we can put theirs in place of the bad one.
One last thing, why are we talking about all this under "Spark Plugs"? Can we pull the newsletter messages and put them all in one thread on the site?
