The elevator trim in my BC-12 seems to slowly creep to the full up elevator position (trim tab full down). The trim cable goes over a fiber pulley that drives the trim mechanism at the base of the vertical fin with no positive means of keeping the trim tab in time with the trim handle. Once at the full down stop it seems to stick there and turning the trim handle has no effect. Is just the way it is or is something going on that I din't understand. It is easily corrected on the ground by turning the cotter keyed nut on the trim drive shaft in the proper direction, which rotates the drive shaft while slipping the trim cable, until things are in time. Any help on this problem would be appreciated.
