    I misunderstood your question. The jury struts upper ends attach to the adjustable clevises threaded into the compression struts. The lower ends attach to the band clamps around the struts.

    The location of the band clamps is determined by adjusting the upper clevises so that the jury struts are vertical (with the aircraft level around the longitudinal axis).

    Unfortunately the drawing is not clear with regard to actual dimensions. This is further complicated by the fact that the available drawing is actually a (partial) revision of a pre-war wing.

    Normally taking the position from your existing spars would be the solution, but I take it that is not possible.

    I put together a dimensional sketch several years ago for a member in South America. I'll have a look to see if I still have a copy.
