Doors! What a difference a days work makes!

Well after asking Mike to check to see if he had any extra early 46 build doors laying around and him checking and no joy. ..I buckled down and worked on mine today and bolted em to the hinges and proceeded to fit the door catch catch hardware to the new door frames and viola I have two working doors that close well plus present straight and are secure! A ton of work has gone into these doors starting with flush rivets filling all the screw holes ,which both sides had different sized screws, which in turn. secured the one piece windows fixed to the doors themselves..

Happy day!

Next step is to use my NOS stock Ford window channel and fit up some sliding windows both front and rear pieces will slide and yes the rear section will be the most inside piece Hank! (I remember your story about getting rain soaked.....)

Thank you Hank. If I can just get my new windows cut and fitted into their window channel mentioned above it will be on disassemble and on to paint to include painting the inside the door new aluminum door covers. No upholstery is going on them!. I would not mind some airtex side wall of the boot cowl upholstery...none on the doors. Just simple aluminum like they were when new.
