  • Propellor mounting hole dimensions

I am having a wooden propellor made for our A65 tapered crank engine. Does anyone have a drawing / dimensions of the prop mounting holes etc? Click image for larger version

From the TCDS for a flanged shaft.

    Flanged propeller shaft, 5-1/2 in.
dia. with 6 equally spaced .621
dia. holes on 4.375 bolt circle

Now for the prop the bolt diameter is for a 3/8 inch bolt, instead of the .621.

I believe the .621 is diameter of prop bushings on flanged shaft. They don't go all the way through prop. The taper shaft has .375 bolt holes.

Ours is not the flanged crankshaft

I understand that, but the propeller is basically the same. The diameter of the circle and spacing of the holes is the same. Sensenich makes their propellers so they will fit both flanged shaft and propeller hubs. The bolt holes are counterbored for the bushings on the crankshaft. When used on a hub they just put a bushing in the counterbored hole to fill the space.
