Yes please make sure there is good audio. Try for video too. I have followed this story line and was quite dismayed to learn of her death way back in 48. I always thoght she was "Grace the Ace" an aerobatic gal I met about 20 yrs ago. Wonder what happened to her.
YES I AM BACK!! Finally somebody called Patty to see if I was alive ! been real busy, after OSH I was a bit disappointed with a lot of stuff, will elaborate soon. bye Forrest I have been answering the direct e-mails & will get back here tomorrow.

Berkeley, I'm sorry I missed her story when I wrote "THE TAYLORCRAFT STORY", I did find out about and interviewed Louise Thaden's family about her 1950 race. Any information you could send would be appreciated..

            Re: Grace Huntington presentation

I will try to arrange some sort of recording. It is a power point presentation which I can put on a CD. When I tried to attach a letter of congradulations from the president of Taylorcraft, it was too large, so the whole presentation is out of the question

For those of you without PowerPoint, there is a viewer available for download from Microsoft.

I will try to convert the presentation to Word. I think it will be more understandable in that format. The pictures and letters that I have are copies of the originals that were donated to the Smithsonian Air and Space. I have written them to be sure I am not violating some copyright law. Hopefully, they will give permission.

I finally finished publishing my mother's story. She wrote the book 'Please Let Me Fly' in 1941 and it served as the source for the presentation listed here. The book details her experiences in the late 30s, not only as a pilot also as a woman competing in the workplace at a time when her activities were consider unladylike. The book is available at Lulu.com.
