The goal is NOT to keep us flying (at least for the last few "owners"), it is to make money off of investors with stars in their eyes who actually believe someone will pay a quarter million dollars for a reproduction of a 1946 airplane. OUR proposal to the FAA to get the TCs was to set up to make PARTS, not planes. We couldn't get any traction with the FAA. The idea has never died. A distributed group of manufacturers is actually pretty much in place, and I even have a home for an east coast Depot, but we would need to get the regional "Squadrons" established and more Depots for parts and repair fixtures. There IS a business plan, but without the Feds approval it isn't going anyplace except where we are now, a loose group of guys working to make specific parts for the Tribe.
