Who is Blue Ridge?

I'm having a senior moment. I have gotten some notifications from "Blue Ridge" and the system says I am not authorized to open them. I know he is from Ashville NC and his first name is John but I have a number of friends in Ashville and can't for the life of me remember who this is. I know I will dope slap myself when I hear, but can anyone help my failing memory here?
