Hi. Ted here, guy running the software and hardware.
Long story short:
I was dealing with an internet system attack in the last week and broke the site, probably around Monday. It only worked for US and FR users. But it's fixed now.
Long story long:
We had a rash of targeted server attacks in the last week. (Something quite random but normal if you run a public server.) Starting about Wednesday of last week we had a bot-network attempting to break into the system and do whatever evil was in mind. Because it's a bot-network and coming from thousands of different sources it very hard to block. Though it never got in.
After some research on it, it turned out that the filtering I had in place to prevent those attacks from less-than-scrupulous countries seemed to stop working. So I did some trial and error, made some changes, and got it working again. Or so I thought. It turns out my update blocked everyone other than the United States and France from being able to access the site. I didn't realize it since I'm a US guy and it looked fine to me.
A user form the UK contacted me via email just today after losing access for 2 days. I realized my error. And spent some time revamping the filtering system from the ground up this evening. Smarter, better, sexier, etc. Best of all, seems to work like I intended it to.
So, if you lost access in the last 2-3 days, that's why. Not an actual site outage.
My apologies. Taylorcraft on!
