Re: trying to send picture
Robbie - below this box where I'm typing is another box for "additional options". Under 'attach files' click on 'manage attachments'. 'browse' until you locate the picture on your hard drive, then 'upload'. if the size of the pic falls within limits, that's all. If it is too large, you'll get a message and you'll need to downsize it.

Re: trying to send picture
Robbie: the [ IMG] function is for pictures already on a website somewhere else (so the link would begin with http or www).
Also, try renaming as ".jpg"
Try the "Manage Attachments" button towards the bottom of the page (and then "Browse" to your chosen picture) if you wish to add a photo from your own computer.

Re: trying to send picture
My plane is a '49 and had the 1-1/2 axles when I got her. I put cleveland 30-75? brake calipers with the cleveland wheels, used the 10-30 master cyl. as seen in that picture, and they worked well the few times I tried them out, as I'm usually on floats or skis, plus I put in a parking brake valve- with a cable control- I'll try to upload a few photo's when I can, but haven't yet figured out how to adjust the size on the Mac here. Thanks for the comments!

Re: trying to send picture
I've been away from the "Surfin" machine here for a while, and still need to figure out how to resize the pictures for uploading. But to correct myself, the wheel brake caliper's are 30-55, not the '75's, although those may work fine. While doing the work on the mod, I often wondered where Taylorcraft got those parts to make the pedal itself. The pad looked like something like a friction-lock plate that held a carrige bolt - squared shank bolthead, and that was braised to the fulcrum arm, which was probably another tractor part as it looked to have a pin hole off center the pivot hole for a locking pin for something - I think they where original as the plane had 1300hrs on her when I got it, and never had much done to it as far as records go. I'll keep trying to figure out how to resize those picture, -old dog trying to learn new tricks!!
Merry Xmas all!!
