Re: Window latch needed
Rob:
I'd like to see those dimensions. As I understand it, there are three window designs: the non opening design (which I have), the two piece slideing window, and the bottom opening.
I'd like to have windows that I can open, so my question is this: can I use the slideing or bottom opening design on my BC12-D? Is there a STC for this conversion?

Re: Window latch needed
I've taken some dimensions...next week I hope to be able to post them in some sensible format, along with photos.
The part that attaches to the door is welded...although I am sure an adaptation could be bolted, in a similar way to the part that attaches to the window.
Bob: if you have post-war doors (i.e. of spot-welded aluminium construction), these are not conducive to hinge-type windows. Might be better to consider sliding windows. I know not of any STC, more likely you would be better adapting the fixed glazing to sliding windows, using the existing sliding window design as "approved data".
