I bought two of the shorter shielded plugs for the top two, forward-most cylinders. I haven't installed them yet because I still have the old harness in place.
I know the shorter plug will probably offer the cowling clearance even with the straight connector on the new connector, but I was wondering if an elbow connector, seperate from the harness is available? (wish I spent as much time playing "what if" when it came to flight planning!).
Just to clarify - I know some harnessess have elbow connectors at the 'plug end: what I'm looking for is a seperate part, like a 90^ coax connector, that will screw into the shielded plug and at the other end, receive the straight harness connector. - Mike
