  • Get a J-O-b

Gotta New JOB, and it is taking me to the Northern Rockies, CA and WY for three week trips as a Wellsite Geologist.

I'm looking for a few new friends in the "lower 48", outside or whatever you want to call it.
Any tcrafters in those parts of the world that I can play with when in town? Trying to think ahead, and get the goods on the fishing holes before I get there.

    Dan,

When in Wyming check out the "Miracle Mile" on the North Platte River. It's about an hour west (I think) of Casper. Great trout fishing....5 to 8 pounders are not uncommon.

PS...I think I'm keeping my floats.

If you make it to the other side of the Mississippi...look me up in Michigan!

Thanks for the beta on the fishin' holes, maybe I will make it to the midwest, but not in the near future. Thanks for the invites though, as your welcome here in the great north as well.

Still looking for a "fly-fishing" buddy in the northern rockies. Takes on a whole new meaning dosn't it?

          Well I'll go one further...
If you make it to the other side of the pond, look me up in England!

I don't think Wyoming is connected to Michigan (or England) is it?

Well Rob, no WY and MI are still not yet connected...but enough time and who knows. In fact, I know there was a time when the east coast of North America was attached to Africa.

I will go one step further and venture that someone will STILL BE FLYING MY PREWAR Tcraft.

A year ago the fixed base operator in Pinedale, Wy at the head of the Pinedale anticline, was overhauling a Taylorcraft that I thought was a local ship. You might contact him when there. Lots of good fishing in lakes, rivers, and streams in western Wyoming. Rich. Anderson

                Now were talking.
Pinedale will only be a few minutes drive from the deep well sites of the jonah field, of course no where near the anticline...are you Geologically inclined?

Have property with no mineral rights in Pinedale that uses local Nat. gas. Friend of Geologists. Use to use the Pinedale airport frequently years ago with the Taylorcraft, Great flying area with deer, antelope, moose, elk, and feral horses on the desert in the winter. investments there give me money to fly with. Pinedale is only going to grow more. I went to school in laramie, and worked as a geophy. for schlumberger in rock springs....what a place, like no place on earth!

Looking forward to flying over the winds, if I can find a pal with plane. otherwise, i may end up owning two tcrafts.
