Just to mention this again, the Forum does have an RSS feed. Whats that?
see www.rssreader.com for one of many clients you can download. Of you check for new stuff at several web sites, this is a way to select what you want to know about and then let the rss client tell you when there is something to see.
Its also built into Firefox and Thunderbird. The ipod people are all over this stuff.
Those of you that prefer to have a list of whats new to pick from, similar to the old mail list, will like this. you can run the client in the background and have it pop up and tell you when there is something new.
Other uses is for local weather updates (daily, hourly, etc) (www.rssweather.com) or for you artists out there try www.npr.com
A lot of the news sites are doing rss as well.
Here is the help text from VB, with the url for rss, you could copy this to your clipboard and then select "add" in the rssreader to subscribe... its easy, even Forrest can do it.

Where can I find the RSS feed?
The administrator (HAS) have enabled RSS syndication, this allows you to view newly created threads in guest viewable forums without visiting the board.
The feeds are currently provided in two formats, RSS and RSS v2. The differences are as follows:
RSS 0.91 - This feed is based on a standard written by netscape and provides a link and the title of the thread.
RSS 2.0 - This feed contains title, author, date and the contents of the first post of the thread.
To add this to MyYahoo click here.
The forums to which this applies can also be limited to specific guest viewable forums by adding another paramater to the URL containing the forumids as follows:
If you would like the content to be generated for multiple forums you can seperate the forumids by commas.
