  • 1941 BC12 elevators

I recently purchased a supposedly 1941 BC12 Deluxe project that was completly dissembled and the restoration started. I soon found out that some of the parts were for an L2 and some were for a post war. The vertical stabilizer didn't fit the rudder, and the horozintal stabilizers didn't match up to the elevators ( the hinge points were different). I recently purchased a set of elevators that are supposed to fit my airplane and the trim tab is located in the center of the elevator. Is this the right one, and also I can't get the two elevators to match up when I try to put them on. The bolt for the trim tab control where the pulley is mounted on the end does't allow the other (or right) elevator to be matched up to it. Maybe the set of elevators I have aren't a matched set? Any help will be apreciated.

I have digital pictures of the 41 tail surfaces at home. If you want to contact me there I can send them to you off group.
