  • Best of 2017 Taylorcraft photos

December is here, so as in previous years, it would be nice to see some photos of your flying year.

    The small rules:

Only one picture per post, please, but you can post as often as you like.

The pictures must have been taken in 2017. The pictures must either contain a Taylorcraft or be taken from a Taylorcraft (we trust your honesty).

The pictures do not have to be yours, but proper photo credit must be given and you must have permission to post the photo if they are not yours.

Anything larger then 1024 wide will be deleted, edited or scrummaged by me, at my discretion.

And while it is not required it's always nice if you post a little bit of info along with your picture. What, where when, who and how...

High Noon 12/21/17 in Fairbanks, AK. About 3+42 hrs of daylight with the Sun 2* above the horizon. Temp's about 0*F. Nice day to walk the dog and forget flying.

This is my first time posting a picture but I’ll give it a try. Took this photo on a 5 day trip in Maine. Photo taken at the Gadabout Gaddis air strip, home of the flying fisherman

I haven't posted on the forum in a while, but do check in every so often, and got a some good GoPro shots in December on the way from Virginia to Maryland for the Massey Aerodrome annual December fly-in. This one was taken near Annapolis, MD.

We had a Legend Cub in the lead, doing the comms as we flew through the SFRA near Washington, and following were me in my BC-65 and my friend Charlie in his Stearman.

If you're in the Maryland area Massey is a neat place, and they have events all through the year.

Not the greatest photo but one of my favorites. This is N43754 readied to depart the corn field the next morning and finally arrive at Oshkosh.
