Getting started on BC 12D restoration so a lot of Taylorcraft info is new to me. I saw something about CD/DVD no. 1 and no. 2. Is there a source for the factory drawings? Mainly need the wing but all would be great.
The only CD's I am aware of are for the L-2, not the BC-12. There used to be a source for factory drawings but the keeper of the drawings isn't visiting here too much, anymore. You can try, contact him by Googling Barber Aircraft in Alliance, Ohio, person you want to talk to is Forrest Barber.
Some drawings can be obtained at Essco Aircraft, which might be helpful. They are blown-up versions of what you find in the BC-12 'Manual'. Good luck!
Depending on what you need and the age of your plane we should be able to get you what you need to put your wings together. I have several post war wings I am breaking down for parts and can get photos and measurements (or direct information if you are close enough to come and see it on the table but Cheyenne, WY is a bit of a drive to Virginia Beach, VA!)
What year is your plane and what condition is it in?
I just received my drawings from Essco and they are excellent. I ordered the drawings and not the downloadable option. They are big and easy to read unlike the ones in the manual.
