Cub airfoil from what I've seen and has been discussed here. I looked at maybe buying it back when it was available but the wife suggested one Taylorcraft at a time was sufficient, and what to do about floats in summer and so on.

No Dave it does not. I recently found a write up by Forrest from many years ago that describes the airfoil as a Taylorctaft design called the J.P.H. It was named after then President J.P. Hart and is described as a reflex airfoil with a hook at the rear. It goes on to say that it was designed for stability and slow speeds and it definitely does both. The 15A does not possess the speed and clean lines of the B but it is very stable and has the same landing speed of the B model. It cruises usually between 105-110 mph. Touches down at 36 and is very stable airplane.
