Well, as these things go, the lash adjustment turned into a complete valvetrain disassembly, cleaning and inspection thing. I also spent WAY too much time stripping and detailing the rocker covers.

    Anyway...

Is there a source for pushrod tube seals for the O-145?

There is a "airboat" O-145 on e-bay for $450.00. Look under canoe
      and kayaks.

Just spoke with Richard at Olsons Gaskets concerning replacement head gaskets for the O-145. Their fiber “outer” gasket is easy enough to come by, but the “inner” crush washer is a slightly smaller OD than the used original they have on hand. The ID is the same between the two, so I’m wondering how critical this dimension is? Based upon other threads on the subject, these guys are the "go to", but it seems like there is a definite lack of certainty here. And the earlier reported price of $12.50 has gone up a bit. I was quoted $15 for the gasket and $15 for the ring (which may not fit).

Also, when people “blow” a head gasket, do they get a failure of both inner and outer? The guy also indicated that these crush gaskets can be reused a couple of times if they are not damaged. What is people’s experience here?
