  • After 50 years

After being in storage since 1966 and my restoration over the last 5 years my 41 BC12 is about ready to take flight. I completed the rigging yesterday and started the engine. The starting was flawless' pulled the prop through 5 blades then on second pull with the mags on she cane to life. Now I need to safety all the turn buckles put inspection plates on, W/B, annual then take to the sky.

Well done Norm! To bring back a Taylorcraft to airworthy status after so long is a veritable achievement, and adds another one to the fleet!

          My congratulations.
