Hey tribe, is anyone putting together a 2015 Tcraft calendar? I know Certified Aeronautical Products did last year but I don't see anything on their site. Just wondering. I need one above my desk to remind me of flying on these cold winter nights.

Re: 2015 Tcraft calendar
We need to just do one here with our own pictures. Post a bunch and decide which ones to load up to a photo site in high res. Lots of people here could probably make a calendar in half an hour (Shannon? Too short a time?). If it was done right we could just down load the file and take it to the copy joint to be printed.

Re: 2015 Tcraft calendar
Hey everyone... well... Marty got it right! Regretfully this year we are just not going to be able to get the Taylorcraft Calendar together. We anguished over this as we know many look forward to it each year. The calendar, though a lot of fun and rewarding.... is just too time consuming. I did not get a chance to get the call out for photos this year at a reasonably early date and so we just couldn't come up with the content needed. Also, we have been super busy as Marty said, with a customer job that has been a once-in-a-lifetime project.
I have missed having much involvement on the forum this year. Y'all must think I left and might not ever come back. Honestly, I feel like I have been away from Family for several months. Now that things are starting to slow down a little, I hope to spend some more time here with you all.
On the positive side, Certified Aeronautical Products, LLC has continued supporting Taylorcraft's this year with more and more Taylorcraft engine upgrades. This year, has been incredible for us. The GOOD LORD has continued blessing our efforts in old airplanes in ways that we would have never imagined. We do our best to make all we do for the Glory of the God above and to turn our work into opportunities to bless others. We've completed the Hangar expansion project and now have a most excellent place to work on and store airplanes. My '46 BC12-D has been awaiting my time for an engine upgrade. I acquired a C90 in January but got too busy to do the mod. So now, I am about ready to get back on it. Also, just last week, we got Lon's '39 back in the air after a 2-year hiatus.
I hope everyone will forgive us for letting the calendars slide this year. If someone else wants to take the ball and run with it, I will do what I can to help.

Re: 2015 Tcraft calendar
I guess we need 12 to make a calendar.... so here's two more from Thanksgiving day..... one of the most beautiful weather days we have had in 2014. Early that morning Lon and I drove over to Deer Pasture Airfield where his Taylorcraft has been in storage for the past 2 years. With re-sealed rear struts on, a new air filter, a clean wash-job, an added quart of oil, some fresh Avgas and a clean gascolator..... Lon's little '39 BC-65 fired right off. We broke for a few hours to have Thanksgiving meal with family.... A Glorious Day. Indeed much to be thankful for. The weather was so gorgeous that day.... Lon and Carolyn decided to ferry their plane back home to Tick Hill Airfield. Lon reported it was a beautiful 40 minute flight. Major blessings to have her home in the new Hangar.
