Re: Lift Struts
I got mine from Univair.
They fit perfect, very nice.
The price for them dropped after I bought them and they gave me store credit for the drop amount. Very nice.
Be sure to give them a good paint job as they came with red oxide primer finish.
Ask them for a 10% discount, they used to give that in the winter on welded assemblies.

Re: Lift Struts
Go with the cheapest, they all are the same thing now. Until Airframes introduced cheap struts, all of the other manufacturers were gouging us...not so bad now. I paid 1600 for 4 struts and clamps plus shipping. TimN29787

Re: Lift Struts
I did Airframes Alaska about 6 months after the AD came out. I did the AD's ultrasound on the old ones and they were OK but I just didn't want the bother of taking them off every two years. The front struts were larger cross section than the old ones and they came with new Jury strut attach strips. One satisfied customer.Skip Egdorf

Re: Lift Struts
I went with Airframes Alaska just got mine June of this year, they came with everything Jury strut attach strips, adjustment screws, STC. I had them painted just sent them the paint chip number. They also fit nice, however you need to follow the angle measuring instructions found on their web site.Last edited by Thrashnic; 08-11-2014, 22:40.
