In celebration of my 50th year of flying, my wife and I decided to have a hangar party at our home.
When: August 16
Where: Anchor River Airpark (AK00)
Who's invited: All T-Crafters and Stinsoneers. Bring your favorite pal, wife, girlfriend or dog.
Fly-in and park at my house or my neighbor's house or transient parking at the northern end of the field. Use Left traffic for runway 34 and right traffic for runway 16. Self announce on 122.9. If you're on floats, we can have you picked up at the Beluga Lake float pond in Homer. Bring a sleeping bag and a tent if you want to spend the night. If you don't want to pitch a tent you can sleep in the hangar or my small cabin. We are a short walking distance from the Anchor River so bring you favorite rod as the Silvers should be in the river as thick as Fairbanks mosquitoes. Food and beverages will be provided as well as beer and wine (for those who spend the night). If you like you may bring your favorite liquor and cigars, but you may be asked to share. Any questions call me at 907-399-7437.
