    Re: Exhaust

Oh and Terry's paper work is very complete an makes it legal. Also this is a short mount with a starter and alternator. The combined weight of a A65-8F as the Comtinental manual states with accessories is 198lbs the engine as installed with accessories is 207 lbs the battery is 14 lbs so the C85-12 with a starter and supporting equipment is a gain of 23 lbs. But the luxury of a starter and not propping to start is worth the weight gain.Oh and that can be cut by 12 lbs with a lithium iron battery.

That is either a hanlin wilson (not sure of spelling ) off a Cessna 150 or a Aeronca see the bumps on the side of the cowl to clear the heat muffs. This will give you lots of heat if they changed the cabin heat box on the fire wall.

Looks like it could be a rare Ryan system.

              Re: Exhaust

At first glance I thought Chuck Avon was right, 150 exhaust. I've installed those before on a tcraft and they're great. Then I went to Barnstormers and looked at the other pics.... I think it's got a regular tcraft exhaust... you can see the exhaust exiting the lower r/h cowl in the picture of it flying..... The only thing I don't understand on the one pictured is the sideways exhaust tip.. interesting. It might just be that setup that High Time Cub has pictured..?
