Though I am not 100% sure of what Congress is attempting to pass, under current rules if you cannot pass the medical or have lost it, (not expired), you cannot fly under Sport Pilot. If she gets it back then she would be ok.

Mine was suspended under the "Anything in the Chief aeromedical examiner's opinion" catch all.

Hi Brie,
As maybe some of the Tribe is aware, I was somewhat in the same position you. I had reassignment surgery in 2010. After a few calls and a visit to my local FSDO I am now a female pilot. Never a problem. Just to let you know.

You are correct Marty. That is what i was talking about, her getting back in. I should have explained. The last i heard, they were trying to get Sport pilot approved for single engine with no weight specs and no Hi performance.

Just curious. Why is T27 closing? I just checked it on AirNav and it looks like a pretty active airport with nice unobstructed runway?

Yeah, I just figured it out this morning, I'm done fighting with all of this stuff. We moved the fuselage to our property last week, and will move the wings next week. A day before we moved the fuselage, one of the airport regulars told me that he would make me his "best offer", and he said that he would give me eight thousand dollars for it, and that he would "Put a BIG stack of hundreds in your hands. EVERYBODY needs a little money these days, don't YOU need a little money"? I almost spit in his face. I'm TIRED of these rich bitch G.A. pilots and the way that many of them are. I'm going to go hang with real people, ultralight pilots. The plane is going to be cut down to be an ultralight looking "fat" ultralight, and the A65 will go to someone in Florida building a small airboat. That's it guys, it's been nice here, it really has.
