I thought this rudder arm was a Taylorcraft part, but not so sure now. Part number is 1803 or 1303. Thanks!

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
I think I got this with my L-2 parts that also had an Interstate rudder. I will have to compare the two. The shaft is short and the holes don't match the T-Craft rudder, though. Thanks, Kevin.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
Marty,
I have a rudder off a late model F19 or F20 or 21 can't recall but it was one of the newer tcrafts and it has that kind of horn (aluminum and not a streamline shape).
I also have Aeronca rudders with a similar part but the Aeronca part fits in a larger tube where as the tcraft one fits in a 3/4" tube with .027" wall.

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
They don't match any of the holes, Tom. Just trying to get an identity so I can pass it on to someone who needs it. Thanks.Cheers,

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
Hey guys,
I don't need a rudder arm or tail wheel. Mine is fine. I am trying to identify the rudder arm that I have, that is all. Thanks for the comment though.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
Marty, not quite sure how to take your last post. From High Time Cub's picture I think he is trying to tell you that you have a 1303 Scott rudder arm for a Taylorcraft. After reading the description and looking at your picture I think I would have to agree. Tom

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
sorry about that, I was looking at this post on my phone and the bottom of the picture doesn't show up. I'll have to look when I get home. All I saw was The tail wheel. Thanks all for the info, I will compare and let you know.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Need Help in Identifying This Part
Well, that certainly looks like it. The dimensions on mine are a 21/32" shaft and it is 2 1/8" long. Great detective work, Jim. Not sure how you found it but thanks! I have to agree with you, Richard, $1.50???? How old is that ad?Last edited by M Towsley; 10-21-2013, 20:03.Cheers,
