One question, where are the Registry N numbers? Looks so good no one noticed?

      Hank,
The n numbers is on the rudder almost in perfect line with the elevator. If you look closely you can see them in the second pic but not well enough to make out what it reads, but they are there.

I wondered if that was a number or a shadow, well hidden, but he had something to give to the registration group:

Mike's BC12D is beautiful. I couldn't help but stop by everyday to look at it again. Ryan's is a jewel also.

I saw seven Taylorcrafts in the antique/vintage area through the week, and I know there are always a couple of L2's in the Warbird area. There were some more award winners at Airventure. All of them were worth going out of the way to see.

I two saw 3 beautiful Taylorcrafts at Oshkosh The one with the photo posted is N95817 , I did not get the N number on The cream colored one with the beautiful hat rack , was that N44034 ?, it certainly would deserve an award it was beautifull, N5045M was also a head turner, I do have photos and will try to post them when I can get a little help doing it. I missed the L2's in the warbirds area, and also some in vintage, do you have photo's. Its is great to know N5045M and N44034 received awards.

Which was the brown one that should have received the wooden spoon award?

It was not quite as bad as some Cessnas in the Vintage Aircraft Parking...a jolly good thing that those Cessnas were not subject to the Cessna "Ageing Aircraft Maintenace" programme. Perhaps they were Experimental 172's.

I had my Tcraft at OSH but it certainly is not a show plane. I fly in and out of hay fields and grass strips so it gets a little rough. I did race in the Air Ventureup Cup Race again this year. Being the only classic I did win. Come on folks enter next year. We start in Mitchell, SD next year and end up in Waupaca the first Sunday of OSH. It is a lot of fum with lots of great folks.
