  • Continental 65hp 90degree elbow for spark plug cap to prevent chaffing on cowling?

I thought someone here might be able to help me locate a pair of 90 degree elbows for the spark plug ignition caps on my Continental 65hp with Slick mags. I have seen them on a Taylorcraft before to prevent the ignition wire from chaffing on the cowling. I have a Flybaby and I need two of them to prevent the ignition wires from chaffing on the cooling eyebrows. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me.

Hello and welcome. I haven't personally seen an elbow used but the Ercoupe cups are a popular alternative if you cannot find an elbow. Just search for Ercoupe cups for more info. I am sure others will jump in here with info for you on the elbows. Good luck.
    Cheers,
    Marty

        Is this an Ercoupe Cap?

The threaded cap is just not screwed into the cup (it is actually Ercoupe Cup). You have to be careful that the top of the plug doesn't ground out to the screw in cap.
