Is everyone, (or most members) aware of how this Internet forum is funded? They are not free. I know myself , that it has been an invaluable tool in the restoration of my T-craft. I do contribute to the foundation and thought at least some of that when to pay for this site.

Re: Financial support for this forum.
Well, its all out of my pocket. and I'm not working right now. So I appreciate any help you can send my way.
The hosting is provided to us for free by my friend and former co-worker Ted, and that saves a lot of money. There is a major upgrade of the vb software out now and I need to raise $250 (ish) for that. Ted recently re-started our off site backup service and pays for that out of his pocket.
I appreciate the cash and check donations that a few of you have made, I put that money aside for this upgrade. If this was you - please send me a private message as I want to
acknowledge you as a supporter of the forum.
If you would like to send in a donation you can do it via paypal, [email protected]
or mail a check to robert ollerton, pob 1258, patagonia AZ 85624 (as featured in National Geo Borderlands!)

Re: Financial support for this forum.
thanks to the dozen or so that have sent in some cash. Just talked with Ted and I'll be sending some to him to help pay the Spam and off site file backup service bills.
My family property in Crown King Az was in the path of a terrible forest fire a year ago and I've been up there doing some clean up and reclamation work. I plan to be there every other week thru the summer, and I only have Web Internet access at night at the Saloon (!). I'll tally up the donations and acknowledge you all in a few more weeks.Taylorcraft Foundation Forum Administrator (Bob Ollerton)

Re: Financial support for this forum.
This forum has so much info on it. Like two nights ago i was taxing out for a flight ,after the run up I was waiting for the engine to warm up, Idling at 800 rpm's and the engine just quit. Pulling it back to the hanger I found that the engine would run above 1000 rpm's and below it would stumble and stop. With carb heat it would run and the rpm's would raise 200 rpm.then I remembered reading if that happens it's running lean. Checked primer and the the intake hoses. There I found a loose hose clamp on number 3 Cly. Flying the next day. Thanks for all the information on this forum.Robbie
