8.50 x 6 tires on an F-21? Must not be to many of us

Go with AK Bush wheel 26 or 29 in tires will give you prop clearance.

What the *%$#? I like the way you think! We won't be
Landing on any river or big ass rocks yet! 8.50s should
work for now. Going with O-320 w/ an 80 or 82 inch prop.

Hey!! Finally someone else who likes the idea of a Super Taylorcraft. I have a 46 BC12D with the 0320 lyc 160 hp. I didnt like the noise and vibration of the 82 inch borer so I had Craig Catto build me a 76 by 44 composite 3 blade and I would never go back . It is smoother quieter and 12 lb lighter. Phenomenol initial thrust and great climb performance. I had 850 by 6 rubber but switched to 21 by eight tundra tires. lighter . cheaper and 4 p[ly sidewall. only slightly larger than the 850"s and fit on the same wheel . If you are going to put the heavier engine youwill want to upgrade to the heavy alaska airframes struts. along with many other mods. Drop me an email if you want more info on my conversion.
