I moved my Computer from one rooom to another and when I came back up I thought I had done something to my computer as everything looked soo different and I had to find my passowrd.
Now I know I didn't mess it up in the move.

Everyone will have to resubmit passwords.

Admin: can we have an announcement on where to go if passwords are forgotten (might reduce the number of "new" members who are just re-registering. Also, where is the "Quick reply" icon for each post?

It's on the right side, next to the quote button. Hover your curser over buttons for a description...

              Image test

              Attachment test at 8kB

[Failed miserably. Apparently exceeds Forum quota by 23.6kB, awaiting Admin to resolve, unless my maths is really out of date]

OK, that seems to work, but you need to click the "insert image" button to post from an existing website.

                      Howdy Tribe,

I must apologize to everyone!!! The failure of the site was entirely mine. In my zeal to acguire new knowledge, I attempted to download an online program. I now have A7's attempting to land in my driveway and I think that I have launched a fleet of submarines into the gulf. In addition, I believe that I have shut down the power grid for the greater Los Angeles area and opened the flood gates of the Hoover dam and have re-routed two oil tankers and have broken my wife's washer.

Bob, many thanks for getting the site back up an running. You are much appreciated!!!!!
                      Best Regards

                        Uh-Oh!

Err...didn't work again. Now I know it's past midnight here in The Old Country, and un petit bouteille de rouge has passed my lips, but I'm still struggling. Tried attaching a 52kb photo, but still get the same "Exceeds the limit by 26 point something limit".

I blame Mr Boyer, Texan, tall, and ugly too, for the fault, after all, 'twas he who started this thread.

Here's the image I was trying to attach as an attachment; but as a "linked" (embedded) image it works OK. 52kb. Right click and see the properties.

I guess these little teething troubles will get resolved with time, folks.

                          Eric

Eric: I have had to post this image to my own website, then I can show the image (hopefully) below. I'm still not getting the "quick reply" icon. I have the "Edit" icon as you can see.

                          Rob

[Edit some time later: Eric: I worked it out. Bob was right, I do need lessons. I was confused by the fact that the stupid little icon did not have "quick reply" written on it, like the "Edit" and "quote" buttons do.

Image duly edited to show the button in RED. Thanks

                              Re: What Happened??

Robert Lees needs some instruction on posting. Or perhaps bob set an option limiting the size of the entire attachment store instead on for a single attachment?

                              Anyway, here is Robert's tutor...
