    The Pioneer Flight Museum is having an Open House and Fly-In Sat, November 10, 2012.

    They have a grass strip near Seguin Texas: Old Kingsbury Aerodrome Airport (85TE) in Kingsbury, Texas

    Times are listed as 9am to 4pm and planes cars and uniforms of WWI are welcome.

    Is Roger still in operation? I have not talked with him for a couple years and read a few articles that he had some personal issues. I built quite a few props for him over the the years.

      I only know the Kingsbury Field is open (although privately owned) and the Fly-in announcement is from a handout I received at the Louise Ranch flyin. A volunteer from the Pioneer Flight Museum was handing them out.

      I also heard oblique reference to Rogers personal issues, but I do not know any details... I landed there once with an instructor, and the grass strip is in good condition. The museum seems active based on their website. There is also a video of a recent flight of a Fokker Tri-Wing on You Tube.
