great time of the year to fly and fish on the chesapeak bay . this is a shot of tanger island no cars just golf carts very good eats i think the best the bay has to offer . i fished of the rocks for rockfish and troat did land some rock off a rattle trap and some nice seabass no troat maybe all get lucky and get redfish or two next week .

Wow, every picture I see of Tangier Island there is more water and less land. It really is eroding into the bay. I better get up there before it sinks completely! By the way, it IS sinking and "global warming" is NOT raising the Chesapeake Bay. I have lived on the Chesapeake Bay tidal wetlands for 23 years now and the high tide line hasn't come up an inch since I moved here. SOMBODY is blowing a LOT of smoke about rising sea levels!

Hey flymac,

C'mon up and catch some of our salmon, rainbows, and halibut. We've got some great spots here in Alaska. I've got the 'fish pole' mod in my extended baggage compartment and hatches in the floats. Tons of fun in the Summer...you're welcome anytime.

It's all about the "fly fishing", right?
