Sometimes you land for an overnight at a strip that requires sitting with your feet dangling off the edge of a bluff, beer in hand, miles from anywhere; just friends around, and consider the utter privilege that we have as pilots to see these places.

It looks like Happy Canyon, This is the same strip from which I sent you a photo back in 2009.

It is a magical place and I'm glad you could see it properly (from a Taylorcraft of course).

It was also great to run into you two as you passed through Los Alamos. It is always nice to put real faces to names on the forum. Thanks for the pictures.

It was great to meet you Skip. I'd forgotten about that 2009 photo of yours...indeed we were at Happy Canyon. It's a small world when we bumped in to you at Los Alamos, what a coincidence we were there when you were!
