I have a copy of a 20 page parts list for the 1946 era Taylorcraft. The cover page is titled "Taylorcraft Aviation Corporation" "Parts & Price List" with a Alliance, Ohio address. Does anyone know how parts from this catalog can be ordered or who to call about same? I need an Elevator D-9091 Washer - Pulley Bearing, (I think?).

Dick, welcome to the Taylorcraft Forum. There are a lot of 1946 Taylorcraft owners on this forum, so I am sure we can help you.
Perhaps if you are able, you might be able to suppy a scanned extract from the parts list...with perhaps a diagram?...or even a description of where the bearing washer goes? It may be a standard part.
Or even better, a digital photo of the installation?
Don't worry if you are not part of the "Digital Age"; contact me directly by email if you cannot post a scanned image or diagram or photo, my email is robert.lees at taylorcraft dot org dot uk and we will sort out which part you need.
In the meantime, I await my fellow Taylorcraft enthusiasts' input to the D-9091 query.
Sincerely,
Rob Lees
[ Edited to add that a description of the location of he part is the most valuable]
Page 13, about half way down the left column refers.
(unfortunately, no reference in my 1985 price list, so I do not know what they were costing back then).Last edited by Robert Lees; 09-13-2004, 13:33.
