You will need to specify which compass it is for. I know of at least three different ones used from the factory and suspect there were more. Can you post a picture of the compass you will be using? With that I can post a picture (maybe) of the mount you will need.

Good luck, Craig. All of these seem very difficult to find. I am still looking for a compass and mount for mine.

Do you know why Tom Murray is selling his L-3? I took my former L-2 up there in '07 for the liaison aircraft event.

I am looking for a picture of the compass mount. I believe it is made of cast aluminum. The compass mounts on an arc at the bottom of the mount. Thanks for your help.

Hello Marty. These compass mounts do seem hard to find, we will see what kind of luck I have.

I don't know why the L3 is for sale. I will have to ask around.

It is for sale if you are interested. It does have some JB weld repairs. I have only the mount, no compass.

I had one of the arc mounts but need to find it. It mounts the large compass that had tow lugs on the top instead of no lugs like is used for the no lug compass. Which compass do you have?

On the top of the compass are the lugs that attach to the mount.

I will dig around and find the mount. I had talked to Ray about the dome, but you talked to him first. If you need the type mount I have and he has the type I need, but you don't, maybe we need to do a "rotation exchange". I didn't want to jump the line and buy his dome if you needed a dome with the pylon mount welded on. When we get all of these put together we need to take some documentation photos of all the different versions.
