My tail fin stabilizer was damaged when it was transported to me.I have to have a welder look at mine and see if it is repairable. If not, does anyone have one they might want to sell?

Hello Dale,

Depending on the damage (which you don't describe), it may well be best to get it repaired. AC43.13 is the reference, of course, and your IA will advise you on any repair scheme that is suitable.

Don't take lack of response on this forum to mean lack of interest...it just probably means no-one has a vertical stabiliser (fin) at the moment.

Thanks everyone. Forrest, I was at the fly in. I was the one that asked you if anyone could give my son a ride. Ken M. gave him a ride and let him fly the plane. My son was-is on cloud nine. I'm so glad we made the trip down from Michigan! If you could send me an email on what you are asking for the vertical stabilizer I would really appreciate it! [email protected]
