Wanted: Tapered Crank Flange Adapter

I would like to purchase a spare tapered crankshaft flange adapter for my C85. It is the same crank and adapter as the C65. I just need the adapter flange assembly, not the crankshaft. I have a "climb" prop and a "cruise" prop and I would like to have both mounted to adapters so I can easily swap back and forth.

Please contact me if you have one in good servicable condition and are willing to part with it.

Rod,

Changing the adapters everytime you want to change props would be a LOT of work. I think most would agree that just removing the prop bolts is a lot easier than changing the hub each time. In fact, I am not sure if you can change the hub with the prop already bolted onto it.

I swap props quite regularly, same hub.

It takes about 20 minutes, including all the torquing & wirelocking.

I keep a hub on each prop and just swap hubs.

Works great and quick too.

Also I think it eliminates any tracking work that I might have when swapping props.

But having two hubs is pricey.

Thanks for the comments. I plan on doing what Dave mentioned. Removing and replacing the hub assembly is straight forward and it's much easier to leave the prop attached. Since the bolts go through the back of the flange, the only way to change out bolts is to remove the hub assembly. I have very little clearance to get a wrench on the head of the bolt without scraping up the cowling.

I won't be changing it out often, so it's a good way to make sure I inspect and monitor for any corrosion on the crank shaft and the inside of the hubs.

So ... still looking for another hub.
