  • ventral fin

I still have a ventral fin for sale if anyone is interested.

It is covered and ready for paint.

I think this fin is approved for the 1320 edo combo only, others may correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the problem then and the one I still have is that I have no idea what
price to quote and I want to be fair. Maybe others could suggest what this is
worth so we can work this out. Alternatively you could offer something and if
it sounds reasonable I'll let it go. OR.... I could take the pressure off and and
        put a price on it

        How does $275 sound?

My ship had the brackets welded on to receive the ventral fin as I recall and other than that I have no other hardware. I never did install the fin so I have
no idea what else is required.

Looks nice, but you might want to add drain holes before you use it!

Yes indeed Hank, a good observation. I will however leave that for the buyer and final end user, which could be myself if it doesn't sell.

I wonder if one of those could be made from SS tube. Might need to re-size the tube to maintain the same strength, but the corrosion wouldn't be a problem.

Makes sense but, that would be just too easy. Well I guess it would cost more and with little demand this probably will never happen.

In the mean time this is what drain holes are for especially in a seaplane. Lots of drain holes and a little more TLC can keep the little beast from rusting out and falling apart. Not a good thing really.
