Looking for a Parking brake handle assy for a 1946 BC12D. have the tube and broken cable. Also need an elevator trim pulley the 1.5" that goes in the elevator, also the arm for the elevator trim that attaches horiz to trim.

the parking brake cable can be gotten at NAPA air craft supply its a twist lock truck throttle cable under $20.00 chuck

Thanks, Marv sent me an e mail. You clarified it even more. I'll be buying it in the morning. My tcraft is a BC12D N94906 1946. wish I knew date of manufacture. It has an A75. Ran it last week. Started on the second prop. Doing the elevator trim system. Bought the cables today. Started replacing. needed the connector in the back but found a blueprint for the L2 and TG6 to make the rod ends. I'm going to use the old pulley. Don't want to wait. When I find it I'll replace it. If I can help you feel free to pm me. Have some A65 parts, made templates for the engine baffles. using 2024 t3 .032 Max thickness for the dwg.

Tony,

I have pulleys for the BC12-D elevator trim. They are owner produced and work well.
Forrest has some OEM elevator pulleys.

$14 will cover a pulley plus shipping for mine.

Just tried calling you again. 24 minutes after your post. Have to feed my Parrots. I have a colony of four. Re phrase, I'm their slave. As for the pulley. I sent the money order to Mark, yesterday morning, so that;s a done deal. I'm looking for the horiz to elevator trim arm or rod. I can fab it. but If you have it how much and how fast can I get it after you receive payment. Today, I have to pick up a tow release for one of the tribe, and would like to complete the trim
cable installation. 34 deg In Ohio sounds like snow coming in.

I called the 823 number. 3 times today. I didn't leave a message. but left you a post. called 24 minutes after your post. But maybe you're right. Since, I'm a liar, and I'm not interested in the parts. Maybe a member of the tribe can come to Corona Airport Hangar 1939 and look at my cell prone. I won't erase the itinerary for a week. Thanks for posting your cell. Won't call until we can correct this tiny discrepancy. Incidentally, I was at San Francisco Intl. United Airlines August 27 2001. Obviously on Sept 11. Lost one Airplane. We were looking, Just didn't know how they were coming. I was there until dec, 2002 I was assigned to Point Mugu Naval Weapons test center. Prepare for Afghanistan and Iraq. I took care of acft for the nicaragua run. Worked at Lockheed Skunkworks, B1B Bomber. Desert Storm combat Talon 1 and 2 - C130 gunships Lost one with 14 crewmwmbers on bd. I flew as 3rd man in crew of Attack Early Warning and control during Viet Nam. They are still working on my physical problems at The veterans hospital in Wishire West LA Ctr. You're right, I must be a terrorist.

You and Forrest REALLY need to talk directly because you are reading a lot into Forrest's messages that isn't there. He didn't say you were lying, just that he didn't get your messages (which you confirmed you didn't leave). He didn't say YOU were a terrorist, he made a JOKE that your messages must be getting intercepted by terrorists (hey, I didn't say it was a very GOOD joke, but it was obvious to me he WAS NOT calling you a terrorist!)
As for posting a message, well, good luck with that. Forrest isn't the greatest at checking his email and he does put running the airport above answering messages (or even reading them). We all just have to get used to it. He gets to set his priorities, not us.
You guys are BOTH good guys and this is falling apart because neither of you can see or hear each other. You are both like me, and computer communications cuts out a vital part of how we grew up talking to each other.
CALL Forrest, or better yet MEET HIM IN PERSON. You guys will become fast friends! This is a misunderstanding that is getting out of control fast and you guys should be best buddies! You would be if you had met on a ramp somewhere instead of on a computer. Take a deep breath and start over before you loose the chance to make a great friend (BOTH OF YOU!)

I too have many tales of activity around 911 ; I worked with DEA back in the 1960's & 70's ( then BNDD ). We discussed the scenerio of a fuel laden ship being flown into buildings way back then , no body listened.
I did not say YOU were the terrorist , maybe it was THEM that keeps us apart. thank u Hank you make good points....
