  • Before you buy covering, call me!!

    Hello All,

I just got back from going through more stuff and I found enough stuff to cover a complete airplane.

I have reinforcing tape, 2 rolls of ceconite, misc other stuff and a complete roll of Martin Clips.

    Let the bidding wars begin.

I need a good bit of heavyweight fabric (20 yards). Do you have light tapes- need those too!

Also needing some poly tack, poly brush, and silver if anyone else has any leftovers.

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.

I'll have to check the weights. I think one roll is 102 and the other is 104.

Also, isn't silver made with clear dope and aluminum powder?

PS - going to another storage area for dad's stuff. I think there's some dope there. 5 gal buckets of clear, thinner, and who knows what else.

I am getting ready to recover my wings and would love the Martin clips.

Be aware of the different clip size, shape & length of Martin wire compared with the original Taylorcraft wire:

It takes approximately 200' of wire. They usually come in 25' rolls. Provided of course, that some won't break up during process. Factors include your workmanship. and some manufacturing errors during the drilling or worn tool kit.
