    Ralph,
What year was your A65 engine overhauled and does it have a flanged crankshaft? Do you have any photos?

      Ray:
Overhauled in the mid 80s. Owner flew about 50 hours. The engine has been flowed the rest of the time in the past 4-5 years. Runs strong. Yes, is tappered flange.
The oil tank is a long neck for CUBS...it has the attachments made to fit a Cub...I wouldn't know if it would fit a Tcrft or not..other may help on this

      Hopes this helps you

        Ray / group:

Eisman mags without wires would be $400
        Carb would be $ 350

Need to sell the engine with carb & mags as a package/complete

If you are still interested, let me know.

If you want to split off the long neck kidney tank I have a buyer for it here and I'm sure we can come to an agreement on shipping and all (and maybe even a swap for an extra short neck we have if that's what you need).

Heck, would even consider driving to Chantilly to help you pack the rest up.

                Hank:
Thanks for the offer. I can meet you half way, say outside Richmond on I-64 at the BBQ place.
I received an offer for the engine already. I will let you know if it pans out.
                Regards

The kidney tank isn't actually for me, there is another fellow at SFQ who needs it for his T restoration and he has my 45 tank right now while he is looking. SO many of them seem to have been cut down to make short neck ones!
Any excuse to take a trip with a Tribe member is a good opportunity. Maybe he will want to fly up in his Swift (prettiest all polished Swift I have ever seen!)
I figure he will chime in here pretty soon. He doesn't read the posts every day.

Well... the potential buyer backed out.... so the engine is back on the market with carb and short neck tank [was on a Champ before an engine upgrade]. The mags are Eisman: one has the non-impulse gear; the impulse mag does not have the gear. Points and coils replaced about 100 hours ago. No wires.
So, $ 3,595.00 for the engine, carb and tank. If there is any interest in the mags, let me know $ 450.00.
                    Pass the word along. Thanks
