Need Help with Gear upgrade.

I am wondering if there is any 337's or some type of approval,STC,factory approval or something I can use as previously approved data to upgrade the landing gear on Crispy(1946 BC12D) to F19 gear legs with the mechanical cleveland brakes? Any type of help would be very helpful.

I know of 2 airplanes that did it in Alaska, I can find out what they used for data, I just made bushings for mine to convert to hydraulic brakes. Tim

I will call and ask, you might have to buy one of the cd's for which ever airplane. Tim

You dont need the owners permission, its open under the freedom of information act. You just order the cd. then use the info as supporting data..Tim

You are correct,but I do need the N# for the airplane and out of respect for the owner and his bird I would rather have his blessing. It would just make me feel better about it.
