  • rh wing tip bow and leading edge

I'm not sure I'm putting this in the right spot but since I'm looking to buy parts I guess this is as good as any.
To make a long story short, some alders off the side of the runway reached out and bit my T'craft (that's the story I'm telling anyway) so now I'm in the market for a rh wing tip bow and the most out board portion of the leading edge (I'm not sure what that is actually called). The forward spar has about an 8 inch longitudinal crack that I'm planning on repairing if I'm reading the 43.13 correctly. Anyway, anyone that can help with the parts, or where I can find the parts, or advice on the repairs I would be more than grateful.
    Thanks

To make a long story short, I have had the same thing happen to my 1946 Taylorcraft BC12D. Did you ever find parts to fix your bird? I'm in the market for a rh wing leading edge the most out board portion of the leading edge (I'm not sure what that is actually called). Luck the forward spar was not cracked but the A65 prop was bent.

Sorry to hear about that Dennis,
I was able to find a wing tip transition piece and I ended up heating and bending the wing tip bow back into shape. I'll kick around and see what I can find around here. Are there any other parts that you are looking for?

That is the only piece I need is the compound curved alum sheeting leading edge at the right wing tip bow. Well I do need a new metal prop since mine is now a wall hanging.
