Trade O-200 for Dons Dream Machine 85 ?

Would like to find a Dons Dream Machine 85 and trade with my 0 time O-200. Or a C 85-8 with low time. or A C 85-8 with the STC done (0-200 crank, rods, pistons..)

Why not just put the 85 rods and pistons in your 200?

That would be catastrophic. Rods would slap the case and bust it.

STC calls for using O200 rods and pistons in C85 (keep C85 camshaft).

However, I know someone who uses C85 rods and C85 pistons with the O200 crank and it works beautifully.

Without modifying the rods, they will not clear the case with the O-200 crank. I know what the STC uses, I have built a bunch of them. Don also likes to use the obsolete 90 cam on uncertified builds which is an excellent torque cam but has a service bulletin against that won't allow the use of mufflers with it.
