There is a c-85/o200 t-craft LSA for sale advertised on Barnstormers, I work at the seaplane base where the plane is located. But I think we may already have done a pre-buy for you. If it wasent you it was somone else in AK. They passed because it does not have a starter. If you want more details let me know, PM or email.
Thank you so very much for your input. I was the person that had the pre purchase done on that aircraft. 85 hp taylorcraft that qualify for light sport seem to be hard to find. I will keep looking.

The original post on this thread was from AKJack, who wisely made the most brilliant and clever decision any man could make under any circumstances, by buying my BC-85 last November.
My decision to sell it, however, may not have been quite so brilliant
But the airplane has found a loving and caring new home, and as soon as the !($%# weather in Fairbanks becomes habitable for humans again in March Jack will be back down to California to pick it up and take it home.
There had been at least one O-200 conversion offered for sale on Barnstormers some years ago, David Guntly was the guy's name. I think he had told me that the FAA would not sign off on it until he put the post-war elevator/trim tab system on it. I'd have to fully agree with the feds on that one, the popsicle stick trim flippers are marginal on a 65HP short mount... with an O-200 and long mount they would be next to useless!

Thanks guys, I'm mostly looking for a friend who has a 175 and wants to get into tailwheel so he can have some more fun doing a little bit of off road.

Yes, blue 85/0200 T-craft is still for sale. It has f19 brakes and standard 6" wheels, although he just puts an axle adapter on to accomidate the wheels, still has taperd axles. It is a nice light plane and it sceems to preform great. I have never flown it but on skis as soon as the tail is up the thing is flying. The only down side is the wing fabric is preaty ratty, some ringworm, lifting tapes and some holes worn through on the edges. The fuse fabric is preaty nice for 10yr. old but is not perfect, ringworm etc. It really sceems like a good plane but I would definately recover the wings, and if I was doing that I would think hard on doing the fuse. But you may be able to get a few more years out of it if your IA would sign it off. I think it's a good deal for floats wheels and skis in a 97hp non electric plane.

I like what you've done with the paint on T-rex.....it looks much better.
Thanks Crispy!
It was a long winter last year sanding and sanding and sanding and then repainting after the hail storm. I will post some pictures when I figure out how.
