  • YO-57/DC-65 project for sale

I have decided I am just not going to get to all these projects I have around here, so a few are going up for sale. This YO-57 project is actually a comination of two. It is one of the four acceptance airplanes the US Army used for evaluation. The fuselage was rotten and had been cut up and thrown in a pond, but we did retrieve what we could of it. It was dismantled and small parts saved including the throttle handle with serial number. It had metal spar wings which I have plus one spare wing. The fuselage is actually a DC-65 from an incomplete project that the wings and other parts had burnt up in a fire, fuselage was not involved. Fuse is in chromate primer. Project is very complete, but no garuntees every last piece is there. Comes with a 65 Continental but no prop. Cowling is there, good set of struts, panel and instruments as well. I have some paperwork for both arirplanes, buyer can choose which he wants. Price is $10K

I have a 1943 L-2M. Which is a DCO-65. I need the two wing structs for the L.H.Wing. Can we help each other out?

Univair at one time would make struts, and Wag-Aero might as well. I don't have any extra though, sorry.
