Have you tried Forrest Barber? If he doesn't have them you might try Carl Larsen @315-539-2284-Waterloo NY.

I only have the two types , one of each left for possible re production in the future, same with Fuel shut off clips for the AD ; I found them looking for jury strut adjusters. I owe two to a member who contacted me a long time ago for them... so none left , WE sold a lot of stuff since the last fly-in, check out ww.barberaircraft.com for listings , will update next week.

I have the part , looking for the drawing. Had two deaths in the family, winter came back, broke snow plow, helping a fellow building a Kolb Kobra in my shop , up to my butt in sending out small parts ordered last month & even back to Oct... this is an item the factory should address will call Harry Tues.

                Re: Jury Strut attach fittings

My AME has made up new ones.

Worth checking ... we found a broken one on a rear strut when we were installing the new struts from AK. It was cracked right in the middle of the lock nut so it didn't come apart until we losened the lock nut....

pftcraft, please post here once you get the fitting from the factory. I may go that route, also, if they deliver promptly.

Any idea why one of your old ones cracked? Any idea what material it was?

Why did you have to order from the factory if your doctor (AME) made new ones?

                      Re: Jury Strut attach fittings

I was supposed to recieve them last week...sound familiar ? Can't get hold of anyone at the factory..email or phone. They were to be sent before Christmas. I paid by credit card so I have some recourse. This whole thing is a real bummer..with the factory that is. At least they could answer the dammed phone.

Don't know why one was cracked. They were not all the same. Someone had built new ones at one time. I decided to try the factory again after the ones my AME had made up were not the prettiest things I've seen. Probably funtional but between the four of them they all looked different.

I'll sent another post once I hear wassup...

                        Forrest,
I "found" a fuel cut-off clip in one of my boxes.(;f
I will try and take a picture so we can see if it is the same ones we are supposed to be using.
Funny thing, it "appeared" in a box of 3/4" wide steel strips I had and one of the strips is missing now. Do you think maybe Dorthy made it?
                        Hank

If it is an old stock one, maybe more strips will disappear and I can find more clips.

                          Re: Jury Strut attach fittings

I now have three old ones, keeping them for the moment. We are talking with Univair, Wag-Aero, one other one and Airframes to build parts. I have to wait a bit to see about the factory situation.
