I think that's the piece, Mike...meaning the steel link that is not yellow on the photo.
Kevin: Mine is made of a flat 4130 steel plate, with the AN4 and AN3 holes at each end...but the AN4 end is packed out each side with washers to make up the width between the elevator horns.
Has worked for 3000+ hours, and it's going back on by rebuild.
You could manufacture a "proper" piece using said 4130 plate and some 4130 packers welded to each side, then drill and ream to AN4.
My components are still accessible in the tail cone...would you like dimensions?
Mike & Rob,
that is what I need...2 of them, one for the top and one for the bottom.I had my original ones when we did the test assembly and installed new cables last summer before I started covering but for some reason they have been misplaced. I found my turn buckles and even the original attachment hardware that I had labled to go back in the same locations which they were fitted for but these two pieces are MIA. I have spent the better part of 2 days going through everything looking for them with no luck. I would rather find some ready to clean, prime, paint and install but I will make them if I can't find any.So Rob,if it's not too much trouble could you send the dementions?
Thanks.
Kevin, I am certain as soon as you make two new ones the orginal part will appear as if by magic. This is a trueism, I have had it happen to me many times. LOL
Hey everyone. I thank you all for your replies and help but I finally found them this morning. They were in my drawer maked "Trim pieces".....how they got to be there I will never know but it really doesn't matter now. Special thanks to Mike and Rob for thier extra efforts.

Thanks Forrest but I found mine. I do have a question of litttle importance... One if mine is shorter than the other and I think the short one goes on the bottom elevator horn but not sure, that's where I put it and everything seems to work out good but it would be nice to have a second opinion from those who know. Thanks
