Here is an instrument panel question. My 1941 BC-65 Deluxe panel has 5- 3 1/8"
          holes in it with 2 - 2 1/4" holes.
Can someone tell me what the 5 instruments were that came with the plane in 1941. I can guess 4 of them as being: A/S, ALT, T & B, TACH. What was the other one. Chet Peeks book does not mention another one. I got the plane with a VSI in the 5th hole but the factory did not have them in 1941.
The factory pictures in '41 show the 5 3 1/8" cutouts.

Also, I am in need of original type oil pressure & temp gauges to fit in the 2 1/4 cutouts. They have to be ones that mount from the rear of the panel and have 4 screw mounting holes in them. Working condition or not, I don't care as I will send them to Rudy Arkansas for rebuild and re-facing.

          Thanks much, Ron Chicago area

Rob- that is not fair- I knew I should have never sold that A-7! I will buy it back for the same price if you can get Jon Timlin to hand arry it across the pond again for free. That thing has some miles on it. .. . .

Kevin- The only bowl I am ready to sell right away is a descent one for a BL. I guess it could be used on a BC but the dipstick hole would have to be dealt with.

                Eric,
Thanks for the offer but I really don't want one that is patched up.The one I have is desent but not perfect.I have the two switches but one is original to Crispy Critter and was about the only thing on the panel that survived the fire.It still works,or at least it switches from off, right, left, and both but not sure if it will work or not.It looks good, feels good, but might be junk.I guess I could let you try it if you want to.

Eric, I would be interested in tail feathers and cowling. I have a few questions about the cowling if I can afford it.
